Information Technology Support

Metavante Lending Solutions' IT department plays an integral part in the initial deployment of all new client environments. The IT team consists of individuals who have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting mission critical systems in a high-availability production environment. Many of our team members have industry specific certifications (i.e., Microsoft MCSE, MCP, Cisco CCNP and CCNE).

IT support specifies hardware requirements based upon anticipated site activity and configures the production hardware with all core infrastructure settings to ensure site availability and security. Additionally, IT will configure and support the code migrations to the Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing and production environments. IT members will work with the client to determine what type of Wide Area Network connection is appropriate. Once the type is determined, Metavante's IT personnel procures the dedicated connection and works with the client’s network engineering counterpart to properly configure the appropriate access levels in support of the client.

An IT resource also ensures that the new client systems have access to all the other computer resources within the production environment (i.e., intelligent network (CH), Third Party Servers, etc.) and provide these additional services:

  • Monitor and respond to any alerts generated from the client systems.
  • Support new code migrations to all the client specific environments (QA, UAT and production)
  • Monitor the network connection between Metavante Lending Solutions and the client to ensure availability
  • Update and maintain core server configurations to ensure proper security and availability levels (i.e., operating systems patches, anti-virus signature files, data backup configurations, etc.)
  • 24x7x365 day on-call rotation set up to support any system availability issues
