improves decision-making and empowers individuals. The POS Reporting System (ERS), an add-on tool for Metavante's point-of-sale solutions, is designed to extract data from the Wholesale Origination Website
and create dynamic instant reports with unlimited research capabilities and
graphical analysis. As an online analytical processing (OLAP) system,
the ERS can gather information from one or more source systems and provide
virtually unlimited evaluation capabilities as a multi-dimensional data cube.

of issues. The ability to move fields, create “ad-hoc” reporting and detailed
drill-down options separates ERS from basic reporting tools. While the ability
to create a standard set of reports is available, ERS takes reporting to another
level with its advanced functionality.
ERS is deployed with sample data extracts that can be utilized immediately.

The POS Reporting System provides robust and
customizable reporting access. The data can be
defined by a product team, implementation team or
third-party and is flexible enough to handle any data
source. As the data source is configured, the reporting
solution is dynamic. The technology features drag and
drop capabilities for drilling down on data and filtering
capabilities to easily focus on the right data.
Security and User Authentication
Log-in ability is provided independently of credentials
for any other system. This is an added benefit and
reduces administrative overhead. Individual security
rights can limit access to a subset of reports on a per
user basis.
Exports and Printing
Exports are available in two formats. Report data may
be exported in a comma-delimited format allowing
users to import report data into common applications
like Microsoft Excel™. Alternatively, the second export
method is XML and enables an organization to import
the data into another system to distribute or publish.
All reports may be printed and are available in Adobe
Acrobat™ format. |
