Employee Benefits for US employees
In today's competitive market, employees must look to benefits
packages to differentiate potential employers. While many
companies may offer insurance plans and 401(k) matches, Metavante Lending Solutions is proud to offer both of theseand
more—in one industry-leading package that is available
to full– and part-time employees who work more than 20 hours
a week. Below is a summary of the benefits that are offered
to eligible employees.
Employee 401(k) and Employer Matching Contributions
You're eligible to participate in the 401(k) portion of
our retirement program, and contribute up to 50% of your total
annual compensation to the plan, upon hire. After you reach
your one–year anniversary, M&I may match up to 50% of
your 401(k) contributions, up to 6% of your compensation.
Both your employee 401(k) contributions and the employer-matching
contribution are immediately 100% vested.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Employees on staff as of April 30, who work at least 20 hours
per week, are eligible to participate in the Employee Stock
Purchase Plan (ESPP) for the upcoming offering period. The
offering period runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following
year. Shares of M&I common stock are purchased at a 15%
employee discount for participants based on the stock's price
at the beginning or ending date of the offering period, whichever
is lower.
M&I Medical and Dental Coverage
If you're hired as a full-time or part-time employee who works
at least 20 hours per week, you're eligible to enroll in medical
and dental coverage through M&I. The health and dental
plans provide comprehensive coverage for you and your family,
and M&I makes generous contributions toward the cost of
coverage. Through the M&I Health Program, you may select
the M&I Health Plan-Preferred Provider Organization (PPO),
or choose one of the regional Health Maintenance Organization
(HMO) coverage options, if available at your location. The
M&I Dental Plan is offered nationally through Delta Dental.
Employer-Paid Life Insurance
If you're hired as a full-time or part-time employee who works
at least 20 hours per week, you're eligible for M&I's
employer-paid group life insurance coverage. M&I provides
term insurance coverage equal to 2.5 times your total annual
compensation for all eligible employees under age 60 (coverage
is adjusted for employees older than age 60). Additional life
insurance coverage may also be purchased through M&I.
Tuition Reimbursement
If you're interested in continuing your education, you can
take advantage of the tuition reimbursement program after
six months of service. Full-time employees are eligible to
be reimbursed up to $5,250 per year for graduate-level courses
and up to $4,000 per year for undergraduate-level courses.
Part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week are
eligible to be reimbursed up to $2,500 per year for undergraduate-level
courses. The amount of reimbursement is based on tuition costs
at local universities. If you receive a grade of an "A"
or "B," you'll be reimbursed 100% of the cost of
the course up to the maximum amount allowed. A grade of a
"C" is reimbursed at 75%.
Continuing Education
Metavante offers outstanding opportunities for additional
in-house training through our own Education & Development
department. Other opportunities exist to expand your financial
services knowledge through the Center for Financial Training.
Flexible Spending Accounts
The M&I Flexible Spending Account (FSA) provides you
with an easy and tax-effective way to pay for out-of-pocket
healthcare and dependent care expenses. An FSA allows you
to pay for qualifying medical and dependent care expenses
with pre-tax dollars, which decreases your taxable income.
On average, we find employees can save between 25% and 40%
in taxes on contributions made to their FSAs.
Wellness Program
The M&I Wellness Program is a company paid benefit that
helps supplement the cost of health and physical fitness programs
that employees may be enrolled in. All full-time and part-time,
benefits eligible employees can utilize this benefit. The
reimbursement amount is 50%, up to a maximum of $250 each
year. Employees can apply for reimbursement once per year
based on the total eligible expenses for the year, or they
can apply for reimbursement up to three times per year for
multiple programs/expenses.
Other M&I Benefits
Metavante also offers employees other valuable benefits,
such as short-term and long-term disability programs, paid
vacations, service awards, an Employee Assistance Program
(EAP), and many other benefits.
Paid
Time Off - The Company provides paid vacation, holiday,
and sick time for eligible employees.
Employee Referral
Program - The Company offers incentive compensation to
employees who refer candidates that are hired by Metavante Lending Solutions.
